The Republican Party is a veritable group of hypocrites as proven by its many exposed scandals, particularly in the Trump era. Look no further than the state of Oklahoma to get a genuine taste of Republican “family values” at work. For this reason, Americans sometimes question Republicans’ ulterior motives.
The View host Joy Behar criticized VP Mike Pence in a critique that mocked his “Christian” faith. Conservatives responded by charging Behar with “slander” and spreading “anti-Christian bigotry.”
Pence appeared on Hannity this Monday to whine about Behar’s comments, claiming that “tens of millions of Americans were equally offended.”
On today’s episode of The View, Behar stated, “I think Vice President Pence is right. I was raised to respect everyone’s religious faith and I fell short of that.”
She added, “I sincerely apologize for what I said.”
On February 13th, Behar said that communicating with Jesus is a “mental illness.”
Pence told Sean Hannity, “I give Joy Behar a lot of credit. She picked up the phone. She called me. She was very sincere, and she apologized and one of the things my faith teaches me is grace; forgive as you’ve been forgiven.”
He continued, “I’m still encouraging her, to use the forum of that program or some other public forum, to apologize to tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended.”
